A perfect day – as told by your four-legged friend
7:45 a.m. – Wake-up call & hiking vibes.
The sun is shining through the window – hello new day! Woof, I slept well!
The dog beds from ADEA are also extremely comfortable.
I stretch, grab my breakfast from the ADEA dog bowl.
And then – my favourite ritual: I get my morning treat at reception and some cuddles from the breakfast team – they love me!
And of course, with service like that, I love them too.
9:00 a.m. – Off to Wildseelodersee lake.
The ADEA Lifestyle Suites are located right next to the cable car – yes, no car needed!
Of course, I can come along, even with my own dog ticket thanks to my owners' Pillerseetal Card.
At the top, we continue on foot.
It smells like forest, meadows, freedom – I sniff everything.
My dad chills by the lake, my mum takes photos, and me? I jump into the lake and fetch the ball. Best day ever.
4 p.m. – Deluxe nap time.
Back at the hotel. My owner says, ‘Spa time.’ And me? I'm staying in the suite – finally time for my beauty sleep. My fur is still wet from the lake, so I quickly hop into the dog wash (yes, they really have one here!) – then off to my bed. Eyes closed, dreams of meatloaf.
6:30 p.m. – Time for exercise.
When it gets a little cooler outside, it's time to go: jogging with my owner – just like every evening. We trot along the path towards Lauchsee. I'm not allowed to go in, but running around it? Yes, please!
My fur flutters in the wind, I smell every blade of grass – wonderful.
7 p.m. – BBQ time at UpsideDown!
Ohhh, it smells so good! I'm allowed to go to the restaurant. Today is BBQ day.
Meat. Sausages. Every kind. Mum is a vegetarian – of course there's something for her too. But me? I hope that the chef might throw me a steak after all.
I'll just give him my saddest doggy look. It hasn't worked yet – but I'll keep trying.
8:30 p.m. – Bowl empty. Heart full.
Back in the suite. Bowl empty, belly full, ears scratched.
I roll onto my bed, the fireplace flickering quietly in the corner.
I'm tired, happy, content. Tomorrow? More of the same, please. This is what a paw-some vacation feels like!
