Pillerseetal Half Marathon

Run around the Buchensteinwand and enjoy the stunning scenery of the Pillerseetal valley. Every year on Austria's national holiday, it's time to lace up your running shoes and complete the approximately 21 kilometres around the Buchensteinwand mountain. Starting at the Landhotel Strasserwirt in St. Ulrich am Pillersee, the route leads along paved or well-maintained paths via Hochfilzen and Fieberbrunn back to the starting point. There are numerous refreshment stations along the route where you can recharge your batteries. Anyone can take part, from amateur athletes to professional runners.
