In September 2026, the Pillerseetal valley will be the venue for the IVV World Hiking Championships. Thousands of hiking enthusiasts from all over the world are expected to discover the mountains and beauty of our region. Hiking remains one of the most popular sports among our summer guests. As with the permanent hiking trails of the IVV (International Volkssport Association), the same applies to the World Hiking Championships: thanks to the different distances, everyone can take part!
