This is what your day could look like:

7:30 a.m. – OMG, is that my breakfast?

Freshly brewed coffee straight from my own coffee machine in the suite, on my huge balcony with a deluxe mountain view.

Then breakfast at UPSIDEDOWN, a delicious croissant, fresh scrambled eggs and cool orange juice – that's what holidays taste like! I sit outside on the sun terrace, the mountains within reach. My gaze wanders over the peaks.

8:30 a.m. – ADEA activity programme: I can't decide!

Perfect weather! The sun is shining brightly, the mountain peaks are glowing – and me?

I can hardly decide. A guided hike with exciting stories from the region?

Or a bike tour with the hotel manager to St. Johann?

I can rent a bike right across the street and even get a discount – and then conveniently store it in the bike cellar with a washing station.

Or up to the Buchensteinwand, to the world's largest walk-in St. James' Cross? I leaf through the daily programme – everything sounds like: ‘I want to experience that!’ The reception recommends the guided bike tour – just my thing. I meet my small group and the director in front of the hotel entrance. And then: let's go! We cycle through green alpine pastures, across flowering meadows, past babbling brooks. The director tells stories that amaze me. I take a deep breath. Nature that touches the soul.

1:00 p.m. – Lunch. Take a deep breath. And float.

Back at the hotel. I treat myself to something light at UPSIDEDOWN – sophisticated, regional, really good.

Then: power relaxation mode. First into the pond, then onto the lounger.

The sun warms my face.

And then: sauna time! The infusion with sauna master Michael? An absolute highlight – I melt away.

Afterwards, I feel like a Greek god. Or better.

6:30 p.m. – Sunset dinner on the balcony.

Today, I decide on the UPSIDEDOWN veal schnitzel with spiced potatoes, cranberries and lamb's lettuce. Modern Tyrol on a plate. Urban ambience meets alpine lightness. OMG, how good can food taste? But I need a little time to myself and want to watch the sunset while I eat dinner. I eat on the terrace and catch the last rays of sunshine.

8 p.m. – Sea lights: The finale in flames.

I take the shuttle to St. Ulrich – soul lights. Music. Fire. Water.

The sky glows, the lake glitters, my heart goes boom. Pure Pillersee magic.

10:15 p.m. – Signature drink & night mode.

To round off the day perfectly, I go to the bar for a drink.

I don't know what yet, but the bartender recommends a drink he created himself and tells me more about his speciality.

What a lovely evening, but I'm tired. Off to the suite!

The bed? Heavenly. My heart? Full. This is what arriving feels like. This is what ADEA feels like.

The room was more than excellent, with a large, cosy box-spring bed and a large TV with streaming services. Everything was clean and modern, with lots of reclaimed wood. Located right next to the mountain cable car? The perfect starting point for all kinds of activities in winter and summer. There was also a great, cosy wellness area.

7:45 a.m. – Wake-up call & hiking vibes.

The sun is shining through the window – hello new day! Woof, I slept well!

The dog beds from ADEA are also extremely comfortable.

I stretch, grab my breakfast from the ADEA dog bowl.

And then – my favourite ritual: I get my morning treat at reception and some cuddles from the breakfast team – they love me!

And of course, with service like that, I love them too.

9:00 a.m. – Off to Wildseelodersee lake.

The ADEA Lifestyle Suites are located right next to the cable car – yes, no car needed!

Of course, I can come along, even with my own dog ticket thanks to my owners' Pillerseetal Card.

At the top, we continue on foot.

It smells like forest, meadows, freedom – I sniff everything.

My dad chills by the lake, my mum takes photos, and me? I jump into the lake and fetch the ball. Best day ever.

4 p.m. – Deluxe nap time.

Back at the hotel. My owner says, ‘Spa time.’ And me? I'm staying in the suite – finally time for my beauty sleep. My fur is still wet from the lake, so I quickly hop into the dog wash (yes, they really have one here!) – then off to my bed. Eyes closed, dreams of meatloaf.

6:30 p.m. – Time for exercise.

When it gets a little cooler outside, it's time to go: jogging with my owner – just like every evening. We trot along the path towards Lauchsee. I'm not allowed to go in, but running around it? Yes, please!

My fur flutters in the wind, I smell every blade of grass – wonderful.

7 p.m. – BBQ time at UpsideDown!

Ohhh, it smells so good! I'm allowed to go to the restaurant. Today is BBQ day.

Meat. Sausages. Every kind. Mum is a vegetarian – of course there's something for her too. But me? I hope that the chef might throw me a steak after all.

I'll just give him my saddest doggy look. It hasn't worked yet – but I'll keep trying.

8:30 p.m. – Bowl empty. Heart full.

Back in the suite. Bowl empty, belly full, ears scratched.

I roll onto my bed, the fireplace flickering quietly in the corner.

I'm tired, happy, content. Tomorrow? More of the same, please. This is what a paw-some vacation feels like!
